November – updated 23rd

Darker days are here, limiting the opportunities to get out.

GEORG ESSBERGER passes Paull early on the tide for King George dock.

A short way astern was FREDERIK, also for King George dock.

COSMIC ACE makes an unusual approach to King George dock this afternoon.

A day of waiting…

An early arrival at King George dock for STAR BONAIRE.

GEORG ESSBERGER is the first out from King George dock.

KEY SUND passes and heads into Alexandra dock.

ROTRA MARE next, also inward for Alexandra dock…

… with VB PULLMAN on her bow.

SWAN ATLANTIC sails from King George with VB STRATHDON assisting on her stern.

The highlight of the day, as the daylight fades. The ELISE arriving for Werner quay at the end of her maiden voyage. Fortunately the wind speed dropped in time.

VB STRATHDON assisting on the stern of ELISE.

A grey day with light winds and early and late tides.

A mid-day outing for SCELVERINGHE outward from King George dock.

A bonus vessel I hadn’t spotted on the lists, SARNIA LIBERTY inward for Saltend.

**********

Another grey weekend with very little shipping in daylight hours.

Having been detained by the MCA and then a round trip to Hamburg for her naming ceremony, ELISE returned to discharge her cargo.

A new flight location, STENA PROSPEROUS berthed at Saltend no 3 jetty. Taken from a distance and cropped.

**********

A rare visit to the Tees, not a lot of movements and poor weather.

EMERALD DUCHESS heads out to the spoil ground.

The Sietas built containership VALENTINA arrives for Tees dock.

EMERALD DUSCHESS returns to port.

FURE SPEAR enters the river next.

VB LLOYDSMAN and VB NOBLEMAN on their berth…

… with VB TRADESMAN outboard of VB ROMAN also.

Berthed at Port of Middlesbrough the cable layer LEONARDO DA VINCI – just photographable through a fence.
